As our guest designer for the Fall season, we sat down with Los Angeles based interior designer, Leslie Hunt, to learn more about her style, upcoming projects, and design advice for new homeowners.
Q/A with Leslie
What draws you to Litt Concept House?
I love the collected feel of the store with the mix of antiques, accessories, art, rugs, and decorative pillows.
How did you get your start in this industry?
I was an Art History major in college and worked for four influential designers: Mark Hampton, Stephanie Stokes, Sandra Nunnerley and Scott Snyder in NYC over the course of 6.5 years.
I then launched my own business in Los Angeles in 2003.
What current or upcoming projects are you most excited about?
I am excited to be working with past clients on some new projects and just embarked on creating a green room for a celebrity.
Do you have a favorite Litt piece?
I love the Painted Swedish Cabinet I styled during the photo/video shoot. The color palette is perfefction and it would be great in a Dining or Living Room.
What's your design style in 3 words?
Classic, eclectic, sophisticated.
What's a piece of advice for new homeowners on where to start when designing their home?
Only fill your home with things that you love and hire someone to help define and articulate your vision.
