If you've got a tough stain, it might be best to send it to a pro cleaner who knows how to handle fine rugs. And whatever you do, don't yank on any loose yarns! If they're bugging you, just snip them so they're even with the rest of the pile. Lastly, give your rug a spin every few months to keep the wear and fading even.
