Carved Fawn Box

French walnut hand carved box with animal motif. Beautifully decorated with intricate hand carved detail of a mother and fawn deer around a tree.  Pheasant and oak leaves on the front and sides. Originally probably from Eastern France close to the Black Forest in Germany, known for it's intricate detailed carving of hunting scenes and animals like this.
